A few photos from Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Connor and I took my parents to the park while they were in town visiting. It was my second time being there, and unfortunately this time we weren’t as lucky as my first time to see Big Horn Sheep or deer (we went in the evening when we saw them), but it was a beautiful, and hot, walk through the park. Amazing rocks shoot out of the ground, some small and most tall, tall enough that the people climbing them look immeasurable compared to the massive mountains.
Although the rocks are a major feature of the park, there are small bits of interesting things to see throughout as well — cool plants, trees, wildlife, and more. I am impressed by how much vegetation there is in such a dry area. The dirt and sidewalks (and rocks) are all red, and the green plants pop in color.
Even when Connor is sick and miserable, he still looks handsome!
