I can’t get over the skies here in Colorado. The sunsets, the thunderstorms, the clouds, and beams of light. The days have been warm though, making it easy to get sun burned if you aren’t careful. Yesterday we spent a lot of the day outside. There is a small town here that has a BIG Renaissance festival, really nerdy but kind of fun. Connor and our friends enjoyed the food (giant turkey legs) and activities such as ax and knife throwing while my friend and I just tried to stay cool and drink water. It was all an interesting experience. I can’t resist also sharing the next few pictures from the festival’s petting zoo and elephant rides, edited with VSCOcam, a new app I downloaded and already love! Isn’t that cow the cutest?
We have still been running around all sorts of new towns and exploring, but that is soon going to slow down a bit because Connor got a job already and starts work tomorrow! So proud of him! The pressure is definitely on for me now to get a job as well, and I can’t wait to start designing again, but I will miss him when he is gone at work! When I’m not job searching, I will have to use the time to work on some projects I have been slacking on (genealogy, a secret present, blog re-design, and other exciting things). Wish me luck!
