Snapshots – Palouse Detour

I was fortunate enough to spend last week in Spokane for my Thanksgiving Break. Connor was able to break away from work for Thursday and stay over the weekend also. On our way back to Pullman, we went on a little detour and experienced some breathtaking views of the region. Sometimes we are so busy thinking about all of the places we want to travel to and see that we forget the beauty of our own backyard. Here are a few snapshots from the drive back home near Kamiak Butte State Park.

You two are lucky to live in the great Palouse. There is so much history about those beautiful rolling hills. Thanks for the pictures.

    • I have learned a little bit about the origins of the smaller towns around here, and it is very interesting!

These pics are gorgeous! We will have to take that detour on our next visit to see you! Hopefully it won’t be covered in snow though. I get why people say the Palouse is so beautiful now.

    • Definitely! It only adds about 20 minutes or so to the drive, and it is a nice change of scenery. Luckily I had my phone with maps to keep us on track!
